Changing Seasons

The season has changed, and with it, our focus. Fall is a time to step into the future we desire, even if it frightens us. Especially if it frightens us. Fear can be a warning to beware of danger; however, it can also be an invitation to a life we crave but have been told we cannot have. Old voices and wounds rise up to be silenced or comforted, so they no longer restrain us. The warnings we received reflected the fears of others and never truly applied to us.

As the trees fearlessly change colors, I am inspired to embrace a new goal, which is actually an old goal. To embody the life, without apology or fear, of an author and speaker, recognizing that the scars I carry are witnesses to my courage, not messages to retreat.
